Lately, I have been loving the ritual of making a morning dandelion “coffee” on a slower day. Switching to this caffeine-free alternative has given me the grounding ritual of activating my senses… but this time with all the added benefits.
Dandelion Coffee: All the Benefits Without the Jitters
If you’re like me and cannot handle caffeine, it may have been hard to find an alternative that simply feels right.
I absolutely love that Teeccino makes an easy way to enjoy the ritual of having a “morning coffee” without the side effects of caffeine. And lately, I have been particularly loving their dandelion coffee blend that is rich with detoxifying benefits.
If you haven’t had dandelions before; dandelions pack an incredible amount of nutrition, which makes them hard to ignore. You can have them as salad greens which I love and have written about here, however, they aren’t for the faint of heart as some people have trouble getting over their bitter taste.
Adding them to your morning routine via coffee, however, is a great way to start! Their bold blend of ingredients like chicory root and carob seeds truly make this “coffee” delicious. And the benefits of are endless as dandelions are incredibly detoxifying and serve as a natural prebiotic (good food) for your gut bacteria.
If you’re looking to dive deeper into the benefits of dandelions… check out this blog post here.

What you need:
Milk of your choice – I rotate between dairy/non-dairy
Nespresso Aeroccino4 Milk Frother
Sweetener of your choice – I use honey
I love to steep the teabag generously (filled 2/3 cup) and mix in a small teaspoon of raw honey. Then I add equal parts frothed half & half Organic milk and foam. Once added, I dash a bit of my favorite pumpkin spice mix right on top of the cloud.
And let’s just say… I’ve definitely had more than one cup in a day, it’s that cozy.
Stay organically opulent,
Goldie W.
